I watched that same documentary and was frankly surprised that he played a Rick during the Eagles golden era. I liked the Eagles best during the time span of their first 4 albums. I really liked Hotel California(the whole album). And I'm a huge Joe Walsh fan, but I didn't think pairing him with The Eagles brought out the best in either of them. It was sortof a head scratcher for me, apparently Bill Sz(can't spell his name) Joe's mgr, was behind it.

Easy peasy, it's pronounced Szymczyk. He was probably from Parma (not Italy).

Hope this helps.
