Ric stock strap buttons not fit Strap Lock brand well?

Post by lumgimfong »

Those strap lock buttons which are not the same as the Shaller Strap Lock company buttons came stock on my 4003.
I got Strap Lock brand strap locks and used with stock Rickybuttons. Sometimes they are hard to release from the buttons.
Do you have same experience?
Are the Rickybuttons intended for another brand of lock? Or are they not made by Strap Lock company so they are an intended but rough fit?

I sometimes have the same issue with the Schaller locks. For me, I think it's the strap thickness. Maybe.

I've read that some people are having good results with the newer Schaller s-locks.
