4003 neck pickup poles

Post by asgro »

Hi everyones, I've a little problem with my neck pickup poles.
I tried to change the poles height but all the poles were so tight, especially th E/G ones  After spending about half hour, I managed to move the G-A-D poles.
Unfortunately I stripped the top of the G one :( (I used a 3/32 key for all poles)
There is some replacement or someones that can sell me one pole?
Thanks
Alex

RIC may be able to send you a replacement. I suggest contacting their customer service department to see what they say.

In the future, I would not suggest using the pickup poles to adjust string balance. Usually it's better to just back off the "loud" side. Similarly if you're trying to balance the neck and bridge pickup volumes, I suggest backing off the louder of the two (almost alway the bridge pickup since the magnet is bigger). In my experience, this has a much higher chance of success than raising a pickup or pole piece.
