So RIC will sell a black pickup surround with black screws?

* Clean with acetone or painters alcohol.
* Skuff with Red Scotch-Bright if it feels good.
* Use Epoxy paint.

They will sell the black pickup surround (p/n 02039), but I believe that it does not come with black screws.

I was able to find some screws at my local hardware store. The treble pickup mounting screws had to be spray painted, but found black screws for the others. I think it turned out pretty good...
