Toronto prices tend to be high . What is this transition pickup they're talking about ?

Prices are in CAN dollars, by the way.... so multiply by 0.78 (?) to get the US figure.

Price actually looks quite good, in my opinion.

+1. I think that's a good price for what it is.

I bought a Hofner from them a couple years back and had no problems with the purchase. Good store to deal with from my experience

Capsule is a great little vintage/used Toronto shop , they were on Queen St for years . I'd recommend a visit if you're in Toronto . Now they're in the basement of the Century Drum Shop . Another great little shop , and I don't even play the drums .

Do they ask how much you weigh when you tell them you are interested in purchasing it?

Collin, today 1 Canadian Dollar =0.73 US Dollar
Life, as with music, often requires one to let go of the melody and listen to the rhythm

They're a great store, I highly recommend dealing with them. They're very customer oriented and will even let you take a vintage guitar apart to check the details. I would have been all over this if I had the available funds or felt like trading in 4 other basses.

They've also got a 1974 JG 4000 for $2,695 CDN, roughly $2,000 US. https://www.capsulemusic.com/retail/detail.php?id=2838

I think I stole my 4000 . But I offered the seller what I could put my hands on at that moment and promised to give it a good home . I do play it every day . And have no intention to flip it .
