Back in the club! New (to me) 1973 FG 4001S

Post by basse »

Just picked this up at lunch from The Twelfth Fret in Toronto. Ended up putting a couple of other basses I had up on consignment to pay for it, a 1968 Gretsch Monkees' Bass (model 6071) and a 1978 Music Man Sabre. Couldn't be happier with my decision as the new (to me) Ric is light, has a small, fast neck and sounds amazing. Cheers all, very happy to be back!

Congratulations David.

Really nice looking, David. Early '73. as it has the aluminum tailpiece.
