Help....Verifying 4001/4003 TRC plates

Just wondering if these are real truss rod covers...help me out guys.
6 INCHES LONG,1.5 INCHES WIDE,29.23 MM BETWEEN BOTTOM SCREW HOLES

Those are fakes, knock-offs, not the read dealio.

That reminds me, the Argentina guy has been listing stuff on Reverb a lot lately. I got burned early on before it was better known what he was up to. Flag him!

We do not like to provide too much in detail; if the fakers come across this they will be learning how to make better counterfeits!

One fairly reliable way to tell they are fakes is if someone selling a bunch of them...
I have NO idea what to do with those skinny stringed things... I'm just a bass player...
