Not sure its definitive but the use of crosshead screws is something I've not seen before. These were pulled from a Feb 71 4001
Can we have a bit more talent in the monitors please.....?

[quote="Cor163"]Hello,
Can anyone help me out with dating these pickups?
They're supposed to be from a 1970 4001 bass.
I noticed the pickguard was from a Fakenbacker. And so were the electyronics, knobs included.

Are these the original pickups or are they just copy's?
The toaster reads 7.8k and the bridge pickup reads 6.7k.

Thanks.

They look like the pickups that were in the 1970 4001 that was being sold (for an extortionate amount) in Camden Guitars. I had them send me photos and I don’t think they were best pleased when I said they didn’t look right.
