Sorry about axing the "Love comes to you, you follow, etc..." line, but there was no bass there. You can see the bind I was in!

Most Excellent, Mark. That's one tune I had already worked out, thanks much to Miguel's examples, but you put some interesting touches on a few parts (I may borrow ). All very musical and that 68 sounds great!

Yeah, you're definitely better off following Miguel's example for accuracy. While I tried to nail some parts, I still took the liberty to stray from the path in a couple of places.

If the general masses sees this, the backlog for Ric basses will increase a ten fold. It wasn't until around 1976 that I became acquainted with this song, but it has always remained one of my favorites.

Simmons - I remember us jamming on this and 'The Fish' at one of the MARFs in recent history. Wasn't the bass you were using at the time a V63 FG? That would be great to jam again with you & your '69 4001LH MG, which looks almost exactly like my '68.
