What key is Chris's harmonica?

Post by pag »

Listening to AYAI on QPR I dug out my blues harp (C) but it sounds like Chris is playing another key.
Is his in "E"?
Just curious.....................

A few years ago, I took on the role of "Chris Squire" in a "YES" tribute band called "All Good People".

It was some of the funnest music I've ever played. We did pretty much everything from Close To The Edge and earlier.

One of the songs we covered was And You And I.

I decided one day to go all the way and play harmonica on it, the way he does live.

The short answer to your question is: the harmonica is an "E".
We all have a photographic memory.
- It's just that sometimes the pictures get left on the darkroom floor.
