Squackett

Post by harrek »

Found news on the release of the Chris Squire / Steve Hackett album on a facebook page. Looks like the release is in June and currently import only to the USA. You can find some details on Amazon about it. Amazon lists both a standard and special edition. And this URL:

http://www.cherryred.co.uk/shopexd.asp?id=3663

Will take you to the site that sells it in the UK with a list of tracks. Crossing fingers there are tour days for this! And eager to hear it finally as well.

Oh, and I should say the title is "A Life Within A Day".

Don't know if this has been posted before, Steve Hackett on Squackett and perhaps others thing as to be honest I haven't watched it all yet.

edit to add: the vast majority of content in this interview has nothing to do with Squackett, it is however discussed at the start and sporadically throughout though.

Just got the CD yesterday, and have listened to a couple of tracks driving to work this morning. So far VERY good. Thanks for the heads up...I had let this one slip past my radar.....

That's what is great about this Forum...we spread around the cool things that might slip by. Let us know what you think once you spin it a few more times.
(I have read some interesting pros and cons on the web about the relative balance of the two boys, the production, and the songs. For me I think it is a fine CD.)

While at the Yes concert the other night I couldn't resist getting the special version that has the regular CD plus a 5.1 disc too. But the big autograph by Chris was the real reason I bought it!

(They played the CD between the sets BTW.)

Hopefully I'll get Chris to add his signature next to Steve's someday!
