Looks like a thick tape for binding, notice that it is taller and protrudes out from the sides of the bass, especially evident on the upper side by Chris' right arm, and the front and back strips leave a groove (blood trough in car terms) running along the perimeter of the body. I see the front (and back?) is covered in alumin(i)um foil!

And what about the straw hat/mosquito trail affair Chris is wearing on that track...? :)

Tape sounds about right the way it's proud. I was wondering what would be so reflective! Not so sure about the poodle boots though LOL!

Jon looks happy and rested at first, but a bit more haggard for the color-filmed songs. Chris always needed a prop - hat them the boots, cape later? The early band seemed more together and friends, the later with Howe they seem more alone, not as communicative. Tony Kaye was killer on the Hammond. Not sure why there was three versions of All Good People; one would have been plenty. Observations, not criticisms.

I love the early band. Chris, in the late 60s, was years ahead of his time playing-style wise.
