This is the first death in Yes. I hope it's not a sign of things to come too soon...

Very sad to hear this. I enjoyed Peter's playing and his honest, open interviews. I'm going to give the first two Yes albums a spin today for sure. Wish I had "Can I play you something" and "Two Sides of Peter Banks" as I've always heard they were good records as well.

It is sad news I wonder how Chris feels, as they were also in The Syn together.

A huge loss. He is one of my favorite guitar stylists ever, and a major part of my introduction to YES. I missed out on seeing him in the 70's with Yes and Flash,so I had hoped to finally get the chance to see him play,as he was hinting at a tour involving Ambrosia as a backing band, doing the early Yes songs. RIP,Peter.

Yes, very sad to hear. I always admired his playing on the two early YES albums.

I did just order "Two Sides..."

Sad news indeed. Much respect for his work in both Yes and Flash. I always wondered where Yes would have trod had they kept Peter in the fold.

"Can I Play For You" and "Two Sides..." are terrific. The first two Yes albums will always be my favorites. Y'all have to find his book "Beyond And Before". Very entertaining, sad. and crazy funny too. R.I.P. Peter....

VERY sad :(
May he rest in peace.

Yes' first album is the first progressive album Kareene loved, this was her gateway prog-rock album in a way and it holds a special place in my heart. Very sad indeed :(
So long and thanks for all the fish!
