Future Times / Rejoice (audio bass clip)

Post by miguelbass »

Hello everyone!

I put on my soundcloud page an audio clip of me practicing Future Times/ Rejoice. This is for a future video and/or collaboration project.

Once again, you nailed it! This was such a dramatic change in Chris's sound, with him using the harmoniser throughout most of Tormato. I was happy to see it re-used on what i thought was the best song off "fly from Here",too. (Into the Storm)

Sounds great, Miguel! Always a fun tune to hear. (I was mentally adding in the military snare pattern as I listened...I loved seeing Alan do that live in '78.)

Just the other day I wondered what you were up to...now I know (practice, practice, practice).

As always, thank you!

Thanks everyone!

I have used the setup that has been mentioned on a couple of threads on this and other forums concerning the pickups and respective effects.

The bridge pickup has "mutron" like effect
The neck pickup has the chorus/harmoniser effect

Also I think I am listening a second bass overdubbed, that one I played with the "fuzz" effect on the neck pickup.

Only the bass pedals are unfortunately mixed so low that I can barely hear them. For now I have little idea where they were actually used.
