Heres a clip of Seyes at the rehearsal room in Bolton Lancashire.
Not so far away from Jon Andersons roots in sunny Accrington.
We are part way through putting all of Tales together to gig it next year.
As much as possible we base our stuff on live albums and bootlegs.
I didnt intend running through the bass solo at the time so the guys caught me on the hop and waved me to carry on.
Hence a few fluffs but thats rehearsals for you.
Hope it sounds ok.

Ritual part one Seyes rehearsals...
Re: Ritual part one Seyes rehearsals...
Very nice Pete. Sounds like you guys are getting along with it pretty well. That has to be a hurculean effort to remember it all - times 4 sides.
I gotta say it sounds a WHOLE lot better on my big PC speakers than it did on the iPhone speakers.

Pete, is it likely you guys are ever going to come up North? I'm in Aberdeen, would love to see you guys perform.

How about doing some shows a bit West of you guys, say, the Cleveland area?Fretjob wrote:Pete, is it likely you guys are ever going to come up North? I'm in Aberdeen, would love to see you guys perform.

Hi guys,
This is part of the material we worked on this summer.
I bought a Zoom R16 and ran a few mics into it at rehearsal...and forgot to switch on the phantom
power on the drum overheads!
Any how we just left it running and did all sorts of bits.
We have clips of The Ancient and Revealing Science and if I get time I will post those too.
The guy on guitar is a young lad we know called Oliver Day.
He is at Leeds University right now doing his third year in music so we have had to audition
a new guitarist until Oliver is available again.
We have someone coming to rehearse on Thursday who we hope is going to fit in and...he has
a 1964 ES175 and two early 60s ES335s so fingers are very much crossed it all works out!

Damn - I was listening while multitasking, and it only every once in a while that I remembered I wasn't listening to Yes circa '74.
