Singer's Not Turned Up 1

Post by royclough »

Thought this may be a bit of fun and hopefully encourage more to get involved some of the NF were hard but may bring it back at some point.

OK, so what is this, I hear you ask ,well all the clips will be instrumental versions of late 50s/60s hits, I don't expect you to get who is playing, as in some cases you will have never heard of them, but by all means have a go, think of it as a modern day version of Name That Tune.

OK here goes this song was a number 1 in US in 59 and made top twenty in UK

Title and Artist who had the hit please.

Not at all, Marshall, didn't mean to seem scolding. Win a few, lose a few, the more's the merrier. Good to have you in. :D

My guess is in, Roy.
Life, as with music, often requires one to let go of the melody and listen to the rhythm

Thanks to all who played along answer i was looking for was Venus by Frankie Avalon.

Special mention to Peter for tracking down the group playing which I assumed no one would have heard of Joe's Combo a group from Sweden.

But well done who got the trck and the act who had the hit which was the question.
