mike pender's searchers

Post by royclough »

One of my favourite tracks from Mike Pender's Searchers,I actually believe
this track was intended for a proposed solo album from Mike Pender but the project was shelved after his first and only solo single made no impact.

The guy before Mike on the pic below is in fact his eldest son John who now plays drums when Mike goes out as Mike Pender's Searchers, as he tends to appear on package type shows as just Mike Pender due to fact one band backs all the different singers.

The two guys with Mike as he is today are Tony Crane of Merseybeats and Dave Berry both stalwarts of the 60s

Cool song Roy. He always was a great singer. So that's what happened to Dave Berry. Thanks, that filled me in as to what he is up to. :D
