Hoping To Find The Name Of This Tune

Post by duke »

Hi Everyone,

A visitor to our site emailed us the following tune. He said he ripped it from an old tape his grandmother had in the sixties and he's trying to find the name of the song and who played it.

http://surfrock.org/download/namethattune.mp3

It sounds familiar, but we're all scratching our heads! Any help would be greatly appreciated! Thanks!

Sounds like something my mom would listen to... I'll ask her if she has any idea. It does sound familiar, indeed!

WOW! You guys are absolutely amazing! Thanks a million, everyone! I greatly appreciate your time and effort! I'll be sure to let the man (who emailed us the question) know where we got the answer!

Roy, kenposurf told me you were "good at this sort of mystery". Man, was he ever right!

I'm going to go ahead and remove it from our site, now that we know the score. Thanks again! :D
