VOX AMPS

Postby (royclough) » Wed Feb 01, 2012 11:34 am

I know most on here are musicians and talented guys, so some may enjoy this 30 minute film about VOX. It went out after the Brit Invasion documentary'
The story told about how Brian Epstein approached VOX is priceless. Baiscally he wanted their amps but didn't want to pay for them!!

Roy you routinely find great material. These Vox videos are great. Thanks once again Roy. I really enjoyed them.

These videos are great, thanks! They answered a few questions I always had about the little VOX AC-15 gems.

More classics from Clough. Thanks Roy.

At this point I regret I am not British! (Not only here, BTW.)
Our TV here is not able to create insightful documentaries like the good, old BBC.

And these Amps need to be played with a Rickenbacker! They sound to be made for.
And the Rickenbackers need to be played through a VOX. They sound to be made for, too.

A dream team since five decades now. One improves the other.

And notice how old style way Brian May demonstrates the sounds. - Just using the guitar's dials!!!!
