On most songs we do right now, all the effects are off. I do wish I didn't have to bring so many guitars. The Bass VI I currently use only for Think for Yourself, though I have designs on using it more. I tried using an acoustic simulator instead of the J160E but the band complained it didn't sound as good and it was kind of hard to argue that point.

All this through my homemade Belden Cables with Switchcraft fittings into the 74' Hiwatt SA 212 w/JJ's in preamp and output.
I use a 1967 Gibson Firebird XII Non Reverse for the 3 12 string numbers, sorry! Would love to have a Montezuma 370 12. Someday. But I'm not in too much pain with the Firebird.

Not too fancy:

One Rick and a couple of Strats into a Fender Hot Rod DeVille with a Korg AX-1500G in the effects loop and a Peterson Stroboflip tuner in line.

Plus all the other jazz..... Hercules triple guitar hanger stand, enough cables to go around the world twice, 3 brands of spare strings, tool kit, tambourine in case our vocalist forgets hers, Zoom H4 recorder and tripod, capo, picks, backup tuner, Boss DD6 and power supply 'just in case', power board, extension lead, 3 guitar straps........... stuff like that.

Really cool to see what everyone's using...mine's pretty simple:

'58 Les Paul RI or 'Fender' parts Strat or (more rarely) my 330, almost never the 325...the Ricks are just too finicky in live settings

through a Hot Rod Deluxe with Morely wah/volume pedal and occasionally a DOD Milk Box compressor and DigiTech multi-effect pedal.

A Rick 4003, Bag End 12' cabinet, Traynor YBA1 bassmaster head.. I am getting a Phil Jones Bass Buddy this week and hoping that it can do the job. Lean, mean and mobile is the way to go for me nowadays.

Guitar: Whatever I'm feeling that particular night. This weekend I brought out my '62 ES-125 for most of the set, Mosrite Ventures for the last song (needed that deep cutaway).

Pedals & Cables: MXR/CAE Boost pedal & Boss TU-2. Sometimes modded Ibanez TS-9. Two Vox curly cables, not sure what I've got between my pedals.

Amp: Depending on the venue, either my '63 Ampeg Jet or my '66 Ampeg Gemini II.

Never leave home without it: Two Kyser capos!

I've never had one unique signature setup, but some elements I've often tried to keep are:
Rick 12 string
JangleBox
Boss CE2 chorus
Smallstone phase shifter
Rick O Sound stereo: treble pickup to Roland JC77, then later a JC120, bass pickup to Fender Princeton Chorus, then later to Fender Cyber Twin

Other fun things:
Line 6 FM4 Filter Modeler
Crumar CPB-1 bass pedal synth (poor man's Moog Taurus)

For bass I just use a Rick bass and rarely any effects other than compression.

for guitars:

Boss Noise Suppressor (using effect loop)

Boss Octave (not the new fancy one, the standard one they had for years)
mono to Roland JC120 with occasional amp chorus and/or reverb (thanks, lucky neapolitan ice cream footswitch!)

Behringer bass overdrive (rarely used)
Behringer multi fx (nasty but practical) or Digitech delay
Signal splits then to:
Roland supercube 60 or Fender Rad 25 (also known as BXR25)
And either a Sansamp bass driver or the Behringer knockoff one.. to the PA.

The Bass amps are my stage monitor and Mr sound guy can do what ever he wants with the signal from the amp simulators.

Somtimes I just use the two amps instead of a PA feed...

I use the Behringer stuff because its cheap and if someone collects my pedal box no great harm is done. However although the behringer sounds ok for the money, you notice the lack of quality in the sound after a while..

For guitar:
Guitar goes into amp... (sometimes with a few old pedals)
Amps are either Fender Champ 25se or a Roland Bolt 60 (the tube ones)

At home (where I'm 98% of the time playing), this is the setup

Guitar (usually Rickenbacker 1997SPC or 360/12V64) --> MXR Dyna-Comp --> Fuzz Face --> Deluxe Reverb (will probably soon change)

If I do the odd live show...

Guitar (usually Rickenbacker 1997SPC or 360/12V64) --> MXR Dyna-Comp --> Fuzz Face --> Deluxe Reverb --> mic (would a condenser mic help?) --> Really loud PA system

Dynamic mics, like the industry standard Shure SM57, are best for the loud volumes and mostly midrange frequencies produced by guitar amps. Condensers are best in the studio for voices and cymbals, among other uses.
