Did Jack Bruce drop the E string down to D and leave the 3 strings in there realitive A,D,G places ???? Just curious as when the band I was in played "Sunshine of your Love" I did that and the song sounded awesome and that is how I figured he played it, sounded right to me. Just wondering if anyone knew that? or am I wrong?

Also does anyone else do that too (personally)?? I keep my Kawai bass tuned like that always and spices things up a bit I really like it. Just curious as to what you guys do.

No drop D for me when we play SOYL, there is no need to do so. I do drop to D on certain songs if I gig with a 4 string bass, a couple of U2 songs, Maroon 5, and some Pink Floyd.
