History Of The RickResource Forum

Following the creation of the Newsgroup alt.guitar.rickenbacker in November 1997, the current forum was created in July 2000 in an attempt to foster an environment in which information would be shared without the interpersonal conflict typical of some online unmoderated newsgroups.

For a number of years it was called the Rickenbacker Forum, however, this name was changed recently when RIC formed their Corporate forum.

The current forum format was implemented on October 5, 2007.
Life, as with music, often requires one to let go of the melody and listen to the rhythm
