Bob: Thanks for your comments, but remember you can still have the "old forum" look if you want it. Just go to your user control panel.

OK, I wasn't going to bother to mention this but since it's taken a couple of new twists, here goes . . .

Shortly after the switch to the new forum, I switched to the original color scheme.
Everything was fine for a while.

I always used to go to the forum through a favorite which pointed to: http://forum.rickresource.com/ which now sort of worked. (It brought me to the page with the circle in the middle and the close-up of a gold pickguard.)

About a week or so ago, that link stopped working all together and I got a Page Not Found message.

So I found the new forum and added a new favorite to: index.php

Once I started using the new favorite, the color scheme reverted to the new blue. (!?)

I just posted in the Guitar forum and once my message was posted, my color scheme changed back again to the old "beige and brown." (!?)

Just thought I'd let you know. Am I missing something? Thanks. It's not a big deal at all. just curious.

If color scheme is directly related to login and not to Cookies, for example, then why did the my first change "stick" even when I was only reading and not posting or logging in?

Mark: There have been changes made to some of the RickResource.com index page recently. This explains your difficulty in getting older links to work.

I suspect that your intial login, once set up, took place automatically and hence the old fourm theme you set up.

The blue theme is the default theme which you logged in to with your new address. Once logged in, however, your intially set up forum theme was again implemented.

This is my take on it. Themes to be working now. :D

Hi! Not sure if I should post here, but I was trying to register my Rick and it is already in the register (registered by the guy who sold it to me) and there was a link, I clicked on it, and here I am... anyone can help me? He has it registered as Collected (I guess because he sold it)

Thanks a lot!

Cheers

Joaquin,

It might be good to send a PM to Peter (admin) for the quickest results. He'll take care of it for you.

Joaquin: Please send me a PM with the serial number of the instrument and I will put it under your "My Records."
