I've just noticed that there's a blue line along the corner of my screen name, which reads "Online." No one else seems to have this blue line. Can someone explain what this means?

I think it's the settings in the board preferences of your user control panel.

Is it is only there when you're on-line?

I think this shows which users are currently logged into the board. For instance, when I started to post this (noon EST on Sunday), jps's post had the tag showing; by the time I finished it was gone (presumably because he logged off).
