Maybe move this sub forum to the bottom?

Post by jdogric12 »

It seems most of the posts in here are ones by noobs that belong in the regular forums. Can this get moved to the bottom so people don't mistake it for a place to ask their Rick or gear-related questions?

And maybe changing the name to "Questions on Forum Admin and Support" might make it a bit more obvious that it's for questions about the forum...
I have NO idea what to do with those skinny stringed things... I'm just a bass player...

You mean you don't need a pickguard or luthier in Nashville?

+1 This section has too many threads that belong elsewhere!

3rd'd or 4th'd, not sure which! Maybe losing the Forum word altogether might make sense. Or, Forum Administration Topics may work, too.

I don't think any clearer wording will help. People seem to be clicking on it because it appears first and has a title that remotely resembles what they're looking for.

I agree, I'll ask Peter about it. It should move down.

I have changed the topic. In practical terms I suspect it is the first thing new members see and perhaps easiest for them to put their questions here. Moving it to the bottom makes the rules section less likely to be seen but let's how it works at the bottom. :)
Life, as with music, often requires one to let go of the melody and listen to the rhythm
