Where did the old RRP go?

Post by jdogric12 »

I'm sure it's been asked, explained, etc and I missed it... but Pete where did your whole huge old site go? I miss it! I would browse it from time to time.

Hi Jason.
It is still around. We are working on moving everything to the wordpress platform. If you have a specific article/section you are missing the most - please let us know and we'll transfer it next.
So long and thanks for all the fish!

Nothing urgent really. But it's nice to know some old photos I used to have are preserved. (Particulary my old tulip photos, which AFAIK are only still in existence on RRP)

The old site is still there with the same structure. It is just not being linked to from the main page.

This underscores the important role of the Register. Contributing to it provides us with an historical record that is invaluable for some.

Any update on the whole of the old RRP? I would love to browse it all again! And I'm willing to help out with costs if needed.

You can get there directly (I think) by using this link:

http://www.rickresource.com/rrp/framespage.html

As Gil said, it looks like it is not linked directly.

The old forum posts are in the current forum which goes back to August 2000 or were you referring to the alt.guitar.rickenbacker news group?
