Model J-6 Steel

Post by admin »

The photo below was submitted to the Rickenbacker Registration Page for identification a couple of days ago and it has been identified, thanks to the kind assistance of Richard Schatz. It's a J-6 which was made 1957-1961. It also was available in a kind of bronze color finish. It was replaced by the J-8 in 1961, and that was only produced for about a year or so. It is not known how many of these were produced. These models seem a little up-scale from the 100 series that were produced before, during and after the J series.
