Looking for a rick PEDAL steel

anyone know of any for sale, or otherwise. I know they're out there, but I can't seem to find one. Would really appreciate help on this one.

Rickenbacker pedal steel guitars are extremely rare. I think they were only available by special order. They did sound good, but I understand they never could perfect the pedal mechanism so that the string would return to the original pitch much of the time.
I think your best bet finding one is on the Steel Guitar Forum (WTB section).

There's one in the Ric Collection at work - it's a beaut! Flamed maple etc. If it was for sale (which it ain't) I'd buy a cowboy hat and buy some Pete Drake records.

Here is mine. Unfortunately, the pedals and mechanism were gutted at some point. Kenny, are there any blueprints for the pedal mechanisms lying on a dusty shelf in the factory somewhere? Or better yet, a stash of pedal spare parts?

I didn't think you were at all tempted, Jeff. What was the price again? Image

It's gone now, but I think it was around $700.00.

There was a double neck in my neck of the woods not too long ago. I think he wanted $700. Came with a case too!
