Lapsteel Identification

Post by Dietmar_Waechtler »

Hi Richard,
Please can you identify my lapsteel ?
How old is my lapsteel ?
It's a grey/black spanisch/Electro with the typical headplate "Los Angeles, Rickenbacher...."
The Volume and Toncontrolpot are on both sides from the strings and the Serialnumber is: E2648
Condition is very good.
Sorry I can't send a picture cause I don't have a picture of my lap and don't have a digital camera yet.
My name is :

To Lapsteel identification, S/N: E2648
Forgott to say:
the body, I think, is metal, very heavy and the lap have an horseshoe pickup.
The bridge over the pickup is also in the same design and colour how the body.
The tone and volumepot's are white.
Look forward to your response.
Best Regards from the steelside in Old Germany
