Found on tour

Post by ozover50 »

I found these two while touring the US. The first one is a D16 (I think) found in Toronto with Dean Steliga. As I recall the asking price was around $2500 but I could be very wrong!.

The second was found in Cleveland with Jeff Scott. Don't know the model number but it's an 8-stringer - can't remember the price, either!.

Both in very good condition IMO. Any comments?

The pedal steel is about a mile from my house, across the street from my old high school.

Aha! Thanks, Richard. I knew it was on Queen St. West and definitely wasn't Dave's! They had some pretty nice stuff in Capsule as I recall.

That pedal steel and Ric amp have been there for quite a while, at least since last spring when I saw them up there.

Did they still have that smaller Ric amp? Don't know the model, but it looked like it was from the '40's or '50's.

I think the small amp was still there, Steve - in the back room with some other lovelies.

Yes the small amp was there, but there were a few things changed on it, like the grille cloth and some mounting screws on the bottom of the case.

If you are interested I could find out more for you.
