Rickenbacker BD6 cover plates wanted.

Post by carlanderslofgren »

Hello,

I am new to this forum, and wonder, Is there any chance finding cover plates for Rickenbacker bd6 lapsteel? Or is there anyone who have the possibility to make new ones?

Kindest regards Anders -sweden

Welcome Anders. This seems like a tall order but I hope those of us here will be able to assist you.

Anders,
If you can borrow a set of these, a metal fabricator or machine shop can duplicate them.

Hi thanks for replies,

Richard: Yes, I think that would be possible too. The problem for me is that it's hard to find people who have this lapsteel here in Sweden. On my guitar, these plates are exchanged to some flat, really ugly plastic ones. So it would look better to have the ones who are intended for it.

Thanks.
