Looks like it is a Rickenbacher B model rebranded. Too pricey for all the issues, like the pickup not working.

That silver Hawaiian is purdy..wish i could convince myself to spend the money. There's another model B with minor issues asking $785bin..\

i'm sure the right one will come along. I definitely want a Ric with a horseshoe..for the sound yes, the look..cool..and they'll always have resale value if not collector value

Every so often an Model 100 (Electro or Rickenbacker) comes along and for a price in the $300-600 range. Mine is an Electro. Still get the maple, still get the tuners, still get the horsey, but at a lower price than the Rickenbacker ones. They pop up about every week or two.

It's a Bronson Model 52, a BD-6 made of brown Bakelite with copper colored plates and gold plated hardware. It was produced from the late 40s into the 50s.
