Model 59 - 1947

I own a couple of Bakelite Ricky's (one is Bronson Melody King) and I love the tone. Recently, I've been thinking about purchasing a Model 59 (there are always a couple on eBay), but I've never played one or even heard the sound produced from the metal body. It is unusual. I've tried Googling and YouTubing to see if anyone has posted any sound clips, but no luck. I'd rather not go through the hassle of buying a guitar and then returning it. Anyone here have any suggestions? Thanks.

I don't care for the thin, hollow tone of the postwar Model S/NS.
The prewar Model 59 sounds very full and fat.

Thanks Richard. After much searching, today I did find a YouTube video of someone playing (not very well) what looked like a postwar metal body Rick, and from the sound of it, I wasn't impressed. Much appreciated.
