Howdy, I need help with identification

Hi, I'm new to the forum and am seeking advice about a lap-steel I purchased on eBay to replace the one that was given to me by uncle many many years ago. I unfortunately sold that one during some hard times. Anyway, I'm trying to register it, but I'm not sure of the model. When I plug in the s/n, (D1302) it comes back with a date of 1988-03. I'm just not sure that I'm giving the correct referencing in the other fields, the model etc. Any help is greatly appreciated. Thank you in advance and this is a great site by the way!

This is a pre-war Model NS100 Silver Hawaiian lapsteel. (There was also a post-WW2 Model NS that has different specs.)

The RIC serial no. decoder won't work for a lapsteel of this vintage. I suggest you enter it as a NS100 model, put the year as 1938-00 and enter the actual serial no.

Nice looking lapsteel!
