B6 Panda open G String selection

G’day Guys and Gals
Would like to know string recommendations (including gauges) for stringing a B6 Panda to open G (GBDGBD). I already own a squareneck dobro in this tuning and inspired by Megan Lovell I would like to tune to this chord.
The panda will be new to me and I am concerned about string tension with the Bakelite. Megan (of Larkin Poe ) says she currently uses an Ernie Ball pedal steel set with a 13 or 14 as the high D.
Any B6 Panda owners who could lend a hand.
