Aluminum Hofner style knobs

Post by todd »

Just wondering if anyone has a line
on where one might find the aluminum
Hofner style knobs Lennon put on when
his 325 was refinished in jetglow.
Any and all info greatly appreciated.

The ones you mean are known as Burns knobs. I'm not sure who is currently selling the reproductions. You could try Wes here

or Possibly Jim Rhoads at

There is a current posting on eBay:

http://cgi.ebay.com/ws/eBayISAPI.dll?ViewItem&item=929232892

It ends on 12Dec2002. I also saw an ad today posted in the Harmony Central Classifieds. Search "rickenbacker" to find it.

Todd,

You won't be disappointed with those knobs if you can snag a set.

If you can't get them and still want that "retro chrome" look, I'd suggest Ric part #03357 (the awsome 650 series chrome knobs). I actually prefer these to the Burns ones I have on my 360. Chris at Pick of The Ricks can hook you up with these.

Good luck in your search.

Wow, those knobs didn't last long.. Quote:The item you requested ( 929232892 ) is invalid, still pending, or no longer in our database.
