That is an RM model so it could bring a lot more!

The knobs aren't original, are they? Any other modifications?
Re: 1966 325 fireglow price?
The knobs must be replacements. A mint example could venture into 5 figures.

Jeff, I'm pretty sure the US ones had F-holes as well.jps wrote:That is an RM model so it could bring a lot more!

The F holes were an option on US made 325's. The cut on this one appears a little different to me than most of that era.

Graham's '67 325 is just that---a 325, and not an RM 1996. The chrome-top knobs IMO are factory on his guitar, and f-holes on these models were a standard feature even on domestic guitars until circa 1980-81.....solid top 325s in the 1960's are super rare. I can only think of about a half-dozen off the top of my head, and two of those were Lennon's 325 and 325/12.buzfluhart wrote:sloop_john_b wrote:Jeff, I'm pretty sure the US ones had F-holes as well.jps wrote:That is an RM model so it could bring a lot more!

Thanks for the clarification JS from another JS!

I'm no expert on vintage Rics, but it seems to me I've seen similar vintage guitars to this one recently go for at least twice Kieran's suggested estimate. Based on the prices some current-day Rics are bringing, I'd certainly think it's possible to get up in that price range.

You are correct, Bill. If I could find a 60's 325 for $4K-$5K, I'd break my hand getting my wallet out...
