Vintage 325 on Ebay

Post by miguel »

It's been a long time since my last post here. It's good to be back! I like the new style! :)
Well, I wonder if you have seen this 325 on Ebay. Here's the link:
http://cgi.ebay.com/ws/eBayISAPI.dll?Vi ... :IT&ih=012

The tail is very strange, although the seller says it was factory - fitted.

Any comments?

We've discussed this guitar her recently. I believe it's a hijacked auction this time around.

I missed that discussion, Paul.
It's a real 1964 325 or a fake?

If memory serves me correctly, it was decided that it was a real guitar.

This auction is suspicious.

It was on ebay recently, but IMO the tailpiece was added after the fact, secured right on top of the body. Too bad, 'cause it's a big apology.. I'm sure that guitar had an Accent when it left the factory.

I wonder why this guy is doing this. He could get a nice amount of money if he decide to sell the guitar in an honest way.

Miguel, a hijacked auction or a fraudulent auction like this, never has anything real for sale. It never has anything but victims and a greedy crook, the hijacker. I suggest you Google "hijacked Ebay auction" and do some reading up on this fairly common and highly illegal practice.

Never heard of these kind of auctions, Paul. It's time to learn something new, so I'll do that Google search! Thanks again for the information. By the way: Should we report this to Ebay?
