There were John Lennon's '64 325/6 and '64 325/12 and this one I found on Glen Lambert's page, just about 2 or 3 serial numbers away from JL's 325/6.

In the years I've had my website, and in all the emails and photo's I've recieved from collectors and interested persons in all parts of the world, I've only ever come across one other '64 Jetglo 325 solidtop - from August, found in France by a UK dealer. Lennon had 2 custom made ones which we all know about - The 6 and the 12 string, and so the known total for '64 is 3.

Roger McGuinn picked up several Rickenbackers in 1966, one of which was meant to be a Jetglo 325 like Lennons, and got one with a soundhole, which his son Henry now has.

I know of one Jetglo solidtop from Jan 1966, and then nothing else until one in Feb 1969.

So the grand total of known Jetglo Solidtop 325's from the 60's is 5 units.

In other finishes - there was one other Fireglo model from Jan '64, which is internally marked as a sample. Nothing else.

I have always heard about McGuinn's 325s, but haven't seen any pictures of him playing them. Do they [pictures] exist?

Speaking of Glen's website, I just went to the "325 Connection" and found that it was closed due to the Geocities shutdown. Bummer!

Glen, any plans to re-host your site?

Yep, Yahoo has shut down that section of their hosting after all these years. It was a convenient place to have my website since 1999, but I do have it backed up locally and am working on an alternative hosting.
