I just cleaned up the pots so they could be dated. Dates are 41st week of '58 and 48th week of '58. CTS.
So...most likely came form a full scale Capri later in '58.

Cool, thanks for the update. So the pot holes are probably evenly spaced, yes?

The original control plate from V82 would almost certainly resemble that of V81 with oddly placed controls, likely mismatched controls in the loom, and the toggle placed low on the guard like all two control 325's, combos, etc. As they were done side by side (also with V93 not V84) The loom in question has none of those things. The placement of the mounting screws almost certainly makes it a later '58 type originally with elevated pickguard. A little known point is that the early capris and the 325's shared the same control plate size, meaning there is no reason to believe this is from a '58 325 at all. In fact it's far more likely to have come off a parted out or water damaged standard capri as it identical to many capri wiring loom pics I have on file. My early '58 345 has an identical control plate to a '58 325.

Good info, Glen. So v93 was the other guitar possibly modified? That was an f-hole guitar, yes? Has that one ever surfaced?

V93 was the 3rd 325 mentioned on the well circulated Oct '58 Radio Tel invoice to Framus Werke. It would have been these 3 that had the retrofit type conversion to 4 control. V93 was a blonde, and almost certainly had a soundhole. It's never surfaced to my knowledge
