I shot the video, this is our own David McLaughlin (Combo850) playing the 325.

With the exception of the Vibrola, that is one cool guitar! 8)

In the 1st video, it is the middle pickup only...no typo...middle pickup only with the switch in the middle position. All solder joints are original.

Having said this, it is very likely that other early 325s may have been wired differently than V83, YMMV.....

First video was shot with a mobile phone? Love the underwater effect! Anyway, very cool guitar, and a great sound, in both videos, imo!

So, did I miss it, or was the "RRC" explained yet?

"RRC" are the initials of the previous owner's father, who bought the guitar at a pawnshop in '62-'63. The father gave it to his son in '79 - '80.

Thanks for the videos guys! I expected that bridge pickup to be much more ice-picky. That was a pleasant surprise. What a cool sounding guitar!

It's worth mentioning that Lennon's 325 (V81) was probably wired just like this one......before it was modified to 4-knobs and sent to West Germany in Oct. '58.....
