Hi there,
Does anybody know when Rickenbacker did add the Vintage silver Case to their 325V63?

Thanks

Peter

An interesting question. I don't think the B series version came with a silver case, but perhaps the reissue silver case was introduced with the V series in the late 1980's?

Perhaps some people who own early 325v63 might comment on what case it came with....

Thanks Glen,
Nice to hear from you ! Perhaps my guitar was not originally delivered with this case, but if you look at the rust on the metal parts of the case it might be 20 years old as the guitar was built in 1995.
BTW it has the narrow headstock, not the paddle ! I am just changing the 12k Toasters against scatter wound 7,5k ones because i like the sound better. I also want to change one pickup into a 1964 Vintage Toaster ! A 1967 roller bridge is on the way also. Photographs are coming soon!

Greetings Peter

I purchased one brand new its a 1997 325c63 fireglo and it came with the vintage silver case still has plastic over the Rickenbacker nameplate on the case! has hang tags and all the goodies inside still wrapped in plastic bags.

My late 1984 325V59 came in a black case with form-fit interior.
