Playability RC 325

Post by motionz »

I have buy a handbuild quality made RC 325 Fireglo John Fogerty model.

The intension is to make this guitar better playable, for example the tuning stability.

At the moment the intonation is adjusted but the open chords are stille a little off key.

Cause the short scale a little deviation results in a out off tune guitar

I guess the problem wil be a little high topnut topnut?

Has anyone got experience to adjust this guitar well or can give me tips to make this guitar better playable?

Make sure you have a minimum of 12 guage strings on it. ANything lower can give intonation and vibration noise problems

Thx indeed thikker string was a part of the solution.

The height of the topnut is also reduced and now its much more in tune.

I guess the only thing to do is place better mechanics on the headstock to get a stable tuning.

If ther are any usefull tips it will be welcome!
