I'm newbie here on the forum and I would like to ask the experts. I have a 1996 Model Year 325c64. I was cleaning and re-stringing and noticed that it has 1 truss rod. I've heard and seen on forums that these guitars were 2 rods. Is this correct or did Rickenbacker make these in certain years with only 1 truss rod? Just wanted to be 100% educated on my guitar.

Vintage 325s (and correct reissues) will have a single truss rod, presumably because the shorter neck didn't require two rods.

I believe a 1996 model would be a 325V63, not a C64 (which were introduced some years later).

Thank You! I was sooo confused and I thought I had the V64 but for some reason I don’t know why I thought it was a C series. Is there any difference between the v and c series?

Visually the two are very similar, but if I recall correctly the V-series had different type of internal bracing and hotter pickups. The "C series" instruments were more faithful reissues than the V-series, including X-bracing on the full size guitars and scatterwound toaster pickups in the right 6k-7k range.

There's plenty of fans of both models - the differences are relatively minor, especially on the later V63 models like yours (early ones had larger headstock dimensions than the 60s original or C64 model).
