Neck heel on 325 V59

Post by Tumbleweed »

I've seen some of these RI models with full neck heels and some without. Which ones have the full
neck heel?

Do all the RI's have roller bridges?

I looked at some recently made 325v59 and v63s in my Ric dealer the other week. I noticed that both had square heels. This detail is great to see on the 325v63. The other very interesting thing I noted on the 325v59 was a 5th screw on the control plate as on lennon's.

Another thing was that the scatterwound pickups now have the correct flat blade roundhead screws on the corners. This is another really good to see on the V63. That makes the scatterwounds a very good re-issue of a mid 60's pickup indeed.

Neither of the 'V' re-issues has roller bridges. The good news is that roller bridges will be on the C series 325's...and perhaps available as a spare part for upgrading V series.
