350s With 24 and 21 Frets

I see that some 350s have 24 frets and some have 21, and both versions necks meet the body at the last fret.

How do they do that?

Do they both have the same scale length?

For the 24-fret version, is the body shorter?

The bridge is in a different position. Also the neck and posibly the middle pickups are closer to the bridge on the 24 fret version.
