My '73 4001 has "4001c AG" in the cavity. I wish it was Maria or Jill or something!!

Has anyone else seen corrections in the cavity writings?

Mine has a serial number written with a thick felt tip pen, which was crossed, and the actual serial number (the one on the jackplate and tag) above, all apparently with the same pen and same handwriting). The two serials are quite close one to another, about a week away in production.

It's a 2010.

hmm I did a search and it seems that unprecise or crossed out serials and other stuff are not too uncommon among new and old Rics...

the 650c afg i had made in july 07 had 2 tape spots 2 serial # 1 crossed out both in pencil
