So are the Duncan mini-humbuckers a direct fit for the high-gains? What mods, if any, do I need to perform to make them fit my 360?

I believe the SDs custom shop can make you Firebird HBs that are direct replacements for Ricks. I also believed 5 distortion pedals ago I had "the ONE!"

Once upon a time they used Fender thinlines; I wonder when they finally got Rics? I know they're big REM fans.

It sounds like a good idea... It probably sounds beautiful through some gain. OP, if you do it, will you post some Youtube videos?

I am also working on this as I have two spare Firebird pickups. I'll let you guys know what I think and I'll record some samples too. :)
