I would have had more  but my camera battery ran out of juice, and the back-up battery was in the charger at home ...

+1!

One of my observations was that Ruby goes well with both gold and white plastic, and with gold and chrome hardware. 8)

I want my Ruby with chrome hardware and white plastic. Let's see that Ruby 4004L again, just for old sakes time, please! I have to make sure it will work out well with the rest of my basses and guitars!

Now why would anyone need bullets in their head??? Everyone could use a new Rick though...
Right, and in any case, "need" has nothing to do with buying a new Rick. . . .

I'll see you NAMMsters on Saturday! :D

Ruby looks interesting--how would you say it compares to the DCM finish?

Aw c'mon Billy, you know that Rickenbacker rarely do a big "TA-DA!" at NAAM, it's an evolution thing and stuff quietly happens throughout the year.

Well said fella, I wondered how long it would be before the grumbles started.

Anyway, back to the new and totally fab Ruby...
Does anyone know if this will run alongside all the current colours or is it replacing something like the Mid Blue?

Is the Ruby a return to COY, a limited run or an addition to the standard colours?

Sorry if it has been answered already, my brain kinda turned off a few pages back when the pictures started coming up.
