I use my TR25 mostly with my 370/12RM for recording purposes. For the rest I love my 3 Monkeys Orangutan Jr.

Vox AC30C2. I upgraded the speakers to UK made Celestion Blues and NOS Amperex tubes.

I use the first channel for a sparkly clean sound that has a very vox-ish quality to it and lots of headroom, and the second channel for crunchy overdriven naughtiness.

How about this happy pair?

Nice with the Rick, better with my Guilds.

Simon Custom Challenger
Simon Custom Challenger
Here are a couple pics of one I made for myself. It is about 50 watts RMS, single channel, single 12 inch Celestion, has a master volume and power scaling, negative feedback disconnect, variable gain on the front end of the amp with pull knobs on the first two knobs that disconnect one triode or the other of the input tube, though I usually use it in full gain mode with no feedback. It goes from clean but not quite as nice clean as a Fender to JCM800 gain levels with a harmonically rich and touch responsive break up like an AC30, and is able to do that at all volume levels with the power scaling. Its the same size as a Tweed Deluxe but taller, and heavier of course. I called it the Challenger because the chassis and transformers started life as a Bogen CHB100 Challenger, but I completely gutted it and made my own design.

It sure is cool to see what other people are playing through, collecting, what have you. Anyway, a Rickenbacker 610 sounds pretty darn groovy through either of these two amps. The Vox is a silver panel '65 Cambridge Reverb and the Fender Princeton is from 1969.
